Found a pretty worn 1942-d (non-silver) nickel at work just laying on the ground screaming for someone to pick it up and take care of it.

It's a shame Alabama doesn't have the lottery, I would have to give it a try today.

Went by a C-Store on the way to work this morning and got a 1943 Quarter in my change - worn but readable.

During Lunch I ran by another to pick up some Goody powders and got a 1964 in nice shape.
If you are waiting for the "correction" to buy you need to realize that the increasing prices ARE the correction.

After further inspection and a little cleaning...what I thought was a "D" was just a ding in the coin. So it was just the everyday plain 1942 non-silver from philly! Bummer!

Ok here's my finds in the past week:

1960 Washington Quarter (Found on the floor at work, first silver found since I started working there a month and a half ago)
1943 Walking Liberty Half (Sort of a pocket change find, my co worker found it on the SAME day as the quarter! I gave her 5 bucks for it  )
1962 Roosevelt Dime (Found in my dads stack of change)
1945 Silver War Nickel (Found when someone paid for some cigs at the Gas station I work at)

Also my Girlfriend found a 1964 Washington Quarter in her change
And my brother found a 1943 Silver War Nickel

Silver is still out there, you just got to be looking for it!

I ran to the bank to buy a few pennies. I threw them in my 'pocket'. When I got home I took them out of my 'pocket' it was a whole box of shield pennies. I GOT BIG POCKETS!

Nice haul man. Working at a gas station has its benefits. One night I brought home a '64 Rosie, a '63 Quarter and a Franklin half all found in my drawer.

Couple of weeks ago when I was tossing some rejects into the bank's coinstar, and when I cashed my receipt for $68.13, among the thirteen cents was a silver dime.

I posted this already in another spot...but I got a silver dime in change out of a candy machine at work. Just had to have them fresh Reese Cups....10 hours into my shift...I was craving for a sugar pick up! Anyway, as I picked it out of the return tray, it fell to the concrete floor and made that distinct ring that only silver can make. That there gave me a better pick-me-up than the sugar rush! :D

Found a 1937 Indian Head nickel in my change from an automatic change machine at the self check out lane at the supermarket. It's in VG-8 condition. This is my first Indian Head nickel found outside of searching boxes of nickels. :D

Just going for a walk with the Mrs. the other day and I found a few pennies on the ground. She then picked up something shiny in the same area. It was dental work -- a gold cap for a back molar! Somebody's missing that, we think. We had a good time speculating about how the gold cap was knocked out of somebody's mouth and came to rest on the sidewalk.
