Nice score this afternoon at a bank that been producing lately. The teller told me they're coming from the same customer every week, but he only brings them in when he needs some spending money. It's been 4 weeks in a row now I think. :D

Walked into my favorite bank branch yesterday. One teller only had 1 half - copper-nickel clad. However, the other teller . . . :D

She had a ziplock bag of halves. $30.50 total marked on the bag. I had exactly $31.00 in bills and change. Perfect! I had a great feeling about the bag!

In all, there were 19 40% halves in the bag, from 1965 thru 1969. Almost 1/3 the bag was silver!

Patience and persistence pay off! Keep trying and keep searching! Good Luck everyone! :)

OK, don't post a lot of the "misses" or skunks, but in the interest of full disclosure . . . went to another branch of the bank I use. Got 11.50 in halves loose - skunk!

But, I did get a 1967 from this same branch a week earlier - 1 out of 4 total. So I had reason to hope.

Hey - still even money! Or better than even money on occasion!!!! :) Try getting that guarantee at your local gambling establishment!

Good luck and keep hunting!

Starting to look more like my weekly find rate. You're so far above the average it'll take more than a couple weeks like this to bring your records down much. Better luck next week! :P
