Hey, I was also reading the old 1909 CLUB thread in preparation for the new one (which is up now!)
August 25th CommonCents found a 1909VDB.
August 29th TheJonasCollegeFund found a 1909. This was already reported in the pre-40 thread.
September 7th socaldsal found a 1909VDB, and possibly a second...
Here's the thread for quick reference: http://realcent.forumco.com/topic~TOPIC ... page~2.asp
And the new 1909 CLUB thread is here: viewtopic.php?f=10&t=400

All fixed. The second 1909 by TheJonasCollegeFund was reported in your pre-1940 Lincoln Tracking Thread (page 3 on 8/29) and integrated when I transcribed the additional posts after your last update.

I'll be checking the 1909 Thread in the future to see if some finds were not reported here. Thanks.... :)

Actually, it's quite easy. I use MS-Excel. I have a data entry worksheet that lists the posters on the vertical and lists the date/mintmark of the pennies on the horizontal. All I have do is enter additional coins that are posted by poster. The more difficult part was to set up a secondary output worksheet that automatically creates the output as I enter inputs on the data entry worksheet; lots of concatenation and formatting formulas (that took me a few hours to set up initially). However, once I'm done with the data entry, all I have to do is copy the entire output worksheet and paste it into my initial post. That's the easy part. :D

Out of 1 - CWR that is marked "1950's"

1919s, 1938, 1939

The other 47 was 1950's and about half of them were AU's and several that could be BU's.
There nothing prettier than a wheat in those grades, imo.

Thanks bman :D I picked up that single roll of wheats this morning from a credit union. They were laying next to a teller's coin tray, I saw "1950's" on the side of the roll and she let me snag them. There was some real nice wheaties in the roll!

That 1915 you found is a great snag. I haven't found one of those in a while.
