I was suffering sorting withdrawal today so I went by a bank and was able to snag $50 in halves the tellers had in their trays.

1 1965
1 1967

Now I just got to make it until tomorrow - 8 boxes coming in. Hopefully they will still be coming from that silver vein I hit last week.

Boy, when you open a box and immediately see two Walkers and a 64 you expect more, but I'll take it anyway.

Time to take a break from halves. Last 8 bags have been skunks. I was on a roll for a while finding silver in every bag.

Last week...3 Bags...3 Skunks

This week...3 bags ...3 skunks

I guess since the CU set a limit to $300 a day in the machine and I am getting skunked, this is a great time to take a break.

Half Box #80

1 1967

Each of the last 4 boxes yielded less than the one before. This is NOT a good sign for my next one.

Regression to the mean. I suggest not griping about it and instead appreciating your good fortune.

Also while obtaining wrappers for halves I came across a silver quarter in a teller tray which I promptly purchased! Box # 25 also had 2 rolls with single ended silver and one roll with double ended silver. Ironically it was one of the single ended rolls that was the best roll of the box, with 3 silver clad versus just the 2 on the end for the double roll.

Snagged from the teller's trays at my community bank this morning

3 - 40%, all 1969

1 - 90% Kennedy

The little community bank I do business with has been a steady silver mine for the last 15 years. They let me pick out of the trays anytime I want which is really nice of them.

$7 Teller halves - Skunkage!! :(

$500 Brink's Box of Halves

I found this box at one of the bank branches in a small community outside of where I normally get halves. Someone didn't pick up their box of halves. More interesting, the Brink's delivery service may be different at this bank branch. Definitely, I'll have to place an order next week at this bank branch for halves and see what I find. :)

Nicest box I've had in awhile in my local area!!

1 Franklin 90% SILVER half - '54D
2 Kennedy 90% SILVER halves - '64(2)
14 Kennedy 40% SILVER clad halves - '65(2),'66,'67(5),'68D(5),'69D
1 Kennedy Proof Clad - '92S

and a Boat Load of clad NIFCs - '02P(7),'02D(10),'06P(satin finish mint set half),'10P(74),'10D(64)
