I QUIT - NO MORE BOXES OF DIMES!!! AND SINCE HALVES HAVE DRIED UP TOO, IT'S SIMPLY NOT WORTH THE TIME AND EFFORT TO GET BOXES ANYMORE!!

Only CWRs from now on.... And Boxes of Pennies....

I agree I have 1 box of dimes left to search and that's it. Even the War nickels dried up.
I have a couple boxes of nickels to go through and if there is nothing there then it for them to.
Just CRW's and boxes of pennies for me too.

Well, I might have been a bit premature. Just found out that one of my source banks is switching from the nasty Brink's boxes to LOOMIS. MAYBE, MAYBE, MAYBE, there is some light at the end of the tunnel. So, I put an order in to get 2 half boxes. We'll see....

March 2012 is not only going down in flames, but going to leave one big ass crater when it hits.

Walked into my favorite bank to ask for halves today. When I asked for halves, the little lady said, "I saved some for you from a bag of coins deposited earlier. I knew you might come by asking." Oh yeah!!!! Sounded good!

Sure enough, she and another teller handed me 14 total halves.

4 were copper-nickel. But the other 10 -

1 - 1964
4 - 1967
5 - 1968

All loose again. The only way I have found them so far! Nice to get cheap silver! ~ $55 of coin for $5. Ah, cool!

Bringing in a penny dump at a brand new bank - just got the account that day. They said don't you collect halves too? Why, yes ma'am I do! Long story short... my pennies bought me $65 worth of halves... which yielded one blackened 1964 half. Nice.
