12kHz had a great year, and these were all his finds. I wish they were my finds. I found my share of SILVER halves last year, but nothing like these spectacular finds that folks only find once in a while. :)

Stopped by my pick up bank to get my usual CWR dimes. Vault manager comes out and said someone ordered 2 boxes of halves last week and didn't pick them up; they were mine if I wanted. I took one of them, and I'm glad I did! I'll be picking the other one up Monday.

2 Loomis boxes of halves arrived on time this week. But the bank allowed some low life to poach 5 rolls from 'my' boxes. :(

Box 1 ($450): '64, '66, '67 x 2, '69D

Box 2 ($500): '64, '66 x 3, '68D x 2. Also '87 Jamaica 50 cent coin (ten sided!)

Total silver: 2 90% and 9 40%.

$4.73 in extra change
A guitar pick
A presidential token - John Quincy Adams

Half Box #135 - Skunk

Half Box #136 - Skunk

Well, after a decent start at the first of the month, the skunks have been coming hard and fast. I'm resorting alot of my old boxes - seeing alot of my marks on the rolls as I go thru them. That's 6 skunks in a row and 18 skunks out of the last 25 boxes. Doubt my luck will change with these 10 unopened boxes sitting here beside my desk, but I might as well work my way thru them since the next delivery will not be here until Thursday. Just might find a little silver here and there.

Stopped by my 'half' bank Saturday to see if they had a bag of cents (yes). After a little chitchat, found out that the bank set aside 5 rolls of halves from 'my' boxes but only sold 2 of them. So I ended up getting the remaining 3 rolls too. Result: one '69D recovered. :D

1 box $500 halfs from Brinks = 3 40%; best box I have had since November. Sad.

1 bag $495 in halfs yielded 1 40% and a 1880-H canadian silver 5-cent piece. Very worn. Smaller than a dime. 0.034 ounces of silver.

And I had $800 in halfs from Friday that I turned back in and got $750 back --- that made my lone 40% half on Friday a very expensive coin.
