I met up with my buddy Floyd for an all-day hunt today. We hit an area that we hadn't been to in over a year and every school yard we went to somebody had already beat us to it.
So, we broke out the maps and found another area close by that we had never been to before and coins started jumping into our pouches!

I got:
97 quarters
50 dimes
31 nickels
52 pennies
$31.32 total

Plus I found a silver heart charm, a silver ring, a junk spinner ring and a Chuck-E-Cheese token.

10 clad dimes
21 pennies (one of those was cu)
1 starfish charm (have not cleaned it but I think it's Ag plated)

Lots of fun!!!!

Man I wish it would stop raining here and the ground would dry up a bit. I tried to go out a couple weeks ago and the hole filled up with water before I found my target so I just said screw it and went home.

Today I went back to an elementary school where my friends & I have found some silver before to see if I could add to my silver coin total for the year.
There is a house and a store next to the school property and I wasn't sure where the property line was so I decided to go in and talk to the store owner. He came out and showed me where the line was and also told me that the store was broken into in the 1950's and the guys took a safe outside and broke it open! Of course this got me to thinking about all the silver coins that might have been thrown all over the palce in the process. but I didn't ask for permission to hunt his property(this time) I just thanked him and went on with the hunt.

I found:
3 quarters
4 dimes
8 pennies
$1.23 total clad

Plus:
7 wheaties
a 1957 silver dime
then a 1957 silver quarter and a no date Standing Liberty quarter in the same hole!
Then the rain started and ran me off, I will go back as soon as I can though.
