It's been 3 weeks since I checked one of my branch banks....the last time I was there, the
junk bin was empty. Stopped by yesterday, there were 2 items in the junk bin:

1) 1998 Canadian cent
2) A token of some sort - felt like aluminum w/ a copper colored surface - paint or some
other subtance. Had 25 stamped on one side, the other side had "Not for use for trade" on it.

<sigh>

$5.08 YTD Canadian

Outstanding! A couple grand in total value; not shabby at all.

I think I'm up to something like $20 this year. I've not been making as many trips, and the summer was really dry - maybe the Canadians are all up north then? I'm thinking of taking a bit of a sorting break anyway, or at least slowing it down.

The second would just lead people to think you're a displaced Canuck. The first would get you some looks at the banks!

I just picked up the DMV forms tonight. Now comes the hard part...picking.

Aside from getting really good parking spaces at the branches, the spoof factor of TD. BANK would wear off after a while I think.

While O.CANADA would be awesome on trips to Nova Scotia. I could easily see myself getting free donuts at Tim Hortons from one Province to the next.
