I bought a few other items but nothing "interesting" came out in change.

your not supposed to buy things to see if the vending maching has anything interesting int it, you just use the coin retern button.

Originally posted in the other thread, but its more appropriate here. My grandmother had a large jar of pocket change from the 80s-90s. Out of about $300-400 i only found one 63 rosie, Better than nothing tho. Pulled the coppers out too, and a few wheaties.

My wife found not one but two silver quarters in change today at a school sports event tonight - a 1959 and a 1964. Bad part - she did not realize it til we got home! Went back later to look for more but did not find any - went thru 11 dollars in quarters but found no more! So maybe we got the only two - maybe. I told her that her "coin sorting membership" is on probation - for the late find! But overall she did great I suppose.

Picked up a gallon of milk at the Mini Mart and put the change in my pocket (I normally check first). Walking to my car I could hear the unmistakable sound of silver, quickly checked it and ... 1963 quarter! I went back in to ask to check the rest and got laughed at.

Well, today was my day.

This morning I stopped at a C-Store and got a 1950 dime.

This afternoon I got a 1962 quarter at Arby's.

The the best one. On the way home I stopped for gas, a lady was trying to get the kid cashier to take 2 peace dollars for a couple of blunts. The kid wouldn't do it
Of course I immediately offered her $10 for the pair and she jumped on it.
If you are waiting for the "correction" to buy you need to realize that the increasing prices ARE the correction.

$100 Silver soon coming to a location near you.

I got a 1965 Canadian dime in change from a restaurant yesterday, made my day. Just looked quickly at the edges before I pocketed the change. Assumed it was Canadian but nice to see it was silver non the less!

Hit my dump bank and got 2 real nice $100 bills. A 1928 A and a 1934. Great condition except the 34 has some ink printing from a bank in Maryland. I like these because it says...."redeemable in GOLD......".

Anyone here collect these?
