I thought I would try some nickels for a change. I picked up the $20. BWR, $100 Brinks box, and $88. CWR all from diff. banks. I'll give my reports as I check them.

Had a week off from work so I did a few roadtrips and kept a talley on banks asking for CWR and loose halves: a total of 63 banks covering a 2 county area of WA state. Results were definately below average and I've noticed my finds steadily going down the past year or so. Might have to switch from drive-by pickups to ordering boxes soon as gas costs have gotten too high for me to be doing all this driving. The stats:

Walked in a some time Bank a Bank of America for teller halves an was offered a box only had $100 an that was a skunk I have that and a bunch of zincs to turn in will then see how much that branch has left in the box.

Between last night and this morning I did 8 boxes of dimes and 2 boxes of quarters. Everything was pretty normal until dime box #7 which was the most amazing dime box I ever opened with 33 keepers in it. I guess when you do such volume you may come across an anomaly now and again. Also, quarter box #1 stopped my streak of 5 straight quarter boxes with silver inside.
