HIGHLIGHTS OF JANUARY'S SILVER SEARCHING:

LOOKING FOR A DEDICATED INDIVIDUAL TO CARRY THE SILVER STATS IN 2013. I WILL HELP YA' GET SET UP, BUT IT'S A BIT MUCH FOR ME THESE DAYS. SEND ME A PM, IF INTERESTED. (I WILL CONTINUE TO MAINTAIN THE COPPER STATS.) IF NOT, EVEN WITHOUT THE STATS, I WILL CONTINUE TO HAVE THE MONTHLY THREAD FOR ALL TO POST.

It's important to post your SKUNKS as well as your great SILVER finds. That keeps the statistics honest. I'll try to post some graphs of our SILVER finds as 2013 proceeds along by adding data to this initial post. I'll see if I can post some interesting insights into the data here in this initial post for 2013 too. Even though this is a national tabulation of all our finds, I think its fun to know what finds are being made and at what frequentcy.

It might be interesting to see how many Barbers, Walkers, Franklins, and 90% Kennedys are found too. Also, how many Barbers and Mercurys dimes we find. I'll try to keep track of all of these.

Well lets close out this month. Nice to see some of you guys finding silver, but it was my worst in a while. Oh well, there's always next month.

My first try at a full box in two years. Ordered it last week. Skunk. Got someone's dumps... ugh. Again (same as two years ago). I'm clearly in an area that has been and is being well worked, and the armored service for my primary coin teller seems to get someone else's dump for halves. I ordered one more for next week - I'll give it one more go before deciding this is too much trouble in the wrong place for it. If I could at least get a sealed box I would feel like I had a chance to be in the silver lotto.
