HIGHLIGHTS OF JULY'S SILVER SEARCHING:

LOOKING FOR A DEDICATED INDIVIDUAL TO CARRY THE SILVER STATS IN 2013. I WILL HELP YA' GET SET UP, BUT IT'S A BIT MUCH FOR ME THESE DAYS. SEND ME A PM, IF INTERESTED. (I WILL CONTINUE TO MAINTAIN THE COPPER STATS.) IF NOT, EVEN WITHOUT THE STATS, I WILL CONTINUE TO HAVE THE MONTHLY THREAD FOR ALL TO POST.

It's important to post your SKUNKS as well as your great SILVER finds. That keeps the statistics honest. I'll try to post some graphs of our SILVER finds as 2013 proceeds along by adding data to this initial post. I'll see if I can post some interesting insights into the data here in this initial post for 2013 too. Even though this is a national tabulation of all our finds, I think its fun to know what finds are being made and at what frequentcy.

It might be interesting to see how many Barbers, Walkers, Franklins, and 90% Kennedys are found too. Also, how many Barbers and Mercurys dimes we find. I'll try to keep track of all of these.

Now, go out and find that SILVER treasure!!

I think im going to stop searching half boxes. I find 1 good one if im lucky. I have way better luck with CWRs. Nickels are a different story. This is in SC area at least.

Streaks happen.... good and bad ones. Before this little streak of skunks I had a nice run of about 8 or 9 boxes where I found the good stuff. Either way it's something to do while I watch TV.

What part of SC? I've got family in Columbia and Charleston.

August starts off good for me, only $60 dollars into to day and I already have a 1950. Really hoping I can get a Mercury dime today.

I searched $1000 from random banks and found many. I ordered $1000 and they were brinks and found zero.

100.00 bwr nickels = 1942-P and 1945-P war nickels

Had a tough time at the bank today, they said they can't give me dimes because they need them for coprate stuff, so trying not to get mad knowing that there was more silver in that I went to another bank got $60 and skunked might try to go back to a different teller and hope they give me some.

I believe it was adamsp27 who cleaned that area out a couple years ago. He was finding a lot in half boxes, but the finds fell off am I haven't seen him on here in awhile. Search for his posts and you will see what I mean. He was either in NC or SC can't remember for sure.

Only had $40 in dimes kinda sad about it even worse cause there was no silver.

Id did manage to speak with the head teller and she is goin to start calling me when they get customer wrapped rolls of anything in. She said they dont like dealing with it anyway.

250.00 BWR dimes = 1964 + 1964-d roosies
100.00 BWR nickels = 1945-p war nickel

the same old, teller says they ordered 1000$ of halves for a guy that did not pick them up.

she gives me $50...bwr ,I think not, brinks that has had the crimp pulled out. crappola

60$ dimes, out of 150 they had.. got 59.60 at the next cu--dump bank.

I hate finding out were people dump the hard way. They didnt even mark the rolls.

$580 CWR quarters -
I think its German, need to do more research. Its from 1874. It says "Deutsches Reich, 1 mark" on it. This is my oldest coin find to date.

$100 in dimes skunk. I need my good bank to get some more coins in.

I average 4-5 on a typical bag.
