196lbs. sealed lead batteries @ $0.30/lb = $58.80

I went to a thrift store... .99 each - 4 chairs, .99 for an ab lounger and .99 for a stair stepper, .99 each for a pair of tire wheels

soooo.. 8.68 for these items. tore them apart. so as to have ''prepared steel'' . no plastic, no al. 163 lb. at a premium of 200 /ton , instead of 155.

==16.40

and I have a few pieces 'left over' to take home and remove the plastic. one base that was aluminum. and the misc nuts and bolts. things that required better tools than I have in the old ladies truck.

btw. did an experiment on some xmas lights from the gfs work..... I cut out the lights, so as to have just ''wire'' and the bulbs...

unprocessed lights get paid at .19
I got #2 with 50% RECOVERY for 1.05 and then they gave me .10 for the bulbs with bases ie copper content.
not a great return on time invested . but then it is not to hard to do while sitting over a tote .
