a 500$ box of halves.. one lonely 1968 , nifc 2002, 2008, 2012-defaced with marker

100.00 bwr dimes & 200.00 CWR quarters = skunk.

Be glad you can get boxes / bags to search - in my area, the only thing the banks are carrying now are brand new 2014 & 2015s. No older coins to be had. Me thinks some agency is going thru them (ie Fed or armored car company).

100.00 cwr halves (I was warned they had been searched, but you never know!) = skunk! But I found my first ever clipped planchlet Kennedy! It's actually a double clip. In 40 years of collecting and 10's of thousands of dollars of searching, I'd never found one. Very cool! Also found a magician's half after it kept getting rejected by the coin counter at my dump bank.

went in for nickels, walked out with IKES. nothing like leaveing them as tips.

But a 1963-D Roosie in change at the supermarket. So I decided to check out the Coinstar machine, glad I did; pile of change, mostly Canadian, but a 1943 Merc. was in there too!
