I found a wild Indian head penny in my sorting this week. A beautiful 1904 in excellent condition. It’s been several years since I had found one.

Must be Indian day - I found a nice 1901 today in $18 worth of Brinks rolls. That means I'm done for the year, I get one p/year!

Wow- two Indians in the first four days of the year. At that rate we will have over 90 by the end of the year. Somehow, unless our membership skyrockets, I don't think there will be that many Indians found in a single year.

Found 2 Indian Heads tonight in one bank wrapped roll. A 1901 and a 1898, both in pretty rough shape. My 3rd and 4th Indians out of around $7000 sorted.

After a several year hiatus, and previous focus on machine sorting, I've restarted some very light (5 - 10 bucks a lt a time) hand sorting to fill out some most zinc gaps in the collection. $5 last week. $10 this week. Second roll I open out this week and out pops a 1902 Indian Head! 4th IH I've found in the wild and of those three are 1902.
