$4.50 face in halves from local mini-mart. Got a 1968-D!
Former stock broker w/ ~20 yrs. at one company. Spoke with 100k+ people and traded a lot (long, short, options, margin, extended hours, etc.).
NOTE: ANY stocks I discuss, no matter how compelling, carry risk- often
substantial. If not prepared to buy it multiple times in modest amounts without going overboard (assuming nothing really wrong with the company), you need to learn more about the market and managing risk. Also, please research covered calls (options) and selling short as well.

$100 in halves sorted...no silver, 1 roll of 2001 through 2010 nearly uncirculated P and D mint marks...1 of each year, each mint

$2 loose halves - skunk
$10 CWR halves
2 - 1964
1 - 1964D
3 - 1967
4 - 1968D
4 - 1969D
only 6 clad halves in that roll

Gave $50 in dimes a try...nothing, even though there were two solid rolls that all the coins were between 1965 and 1970

Bad news for my sorting future today. Went to my dump bank today to find signs on the door and on the lobby counter stating that effective today they no longer will have a coin counter. I use a TCF bank for my dumps and when I asked why no more coin counter they told me that they were recently (June 6th think) acquired by Huntington and Huntington does not have or use coin counters. Seems stupid to me to get rid of a counter if a branch bank has one. The counter had been replaced in this bank within the last year or so, so it is almost new.

One box of nickels and one bag of nickels obtained this last week. No coins of value. About half were uncirculated 2020 and 2021.
