Wednesday's box of halves.....skunk....

Went to town yesterday.
$25 dimes. First roll a 1987 S proof.
$20 nickels. One 1960P. Funny thing. Only three from the 60’s.
$10 pennies. Most rolls had no copper. Then one that had all the Ugly coins.
Either sorted by kids.
Or someone as anal as me.

$40 cwr halves. Nothing

$50 cwr dimes. Blanked.

Another $50 of dimes, another shutout.
$150 of small dollars. I do not follow them at all.but the cu wanted me to get rid of them. Two full rolls of SBA. Noticed a Sacagawea I had not seen before.
Now I get to do some research. To me, it looked like sally ride and a space rocket.

Slim Pickens.... $50 quarters, odd. 4 rolls had 51. Last was short one but had a penny and a 1940 nickel.

$11 in loose halves from the teller yielded one 1967

Saabman, your persistence is very admirable. I just hope you don’t have to drive too far to get the halves you get and don’t have to wait in long lines. In other words, I hope it is worth the time you put into it. Or at least you have fun!

Thanks, RS. Fortunately, my pickup is on the way home and my dump banks are fairly close to the office. And, in spite of the last 3 boxes, it's always exciting to go through a box. And to Forrest Gump it.....you never know what you'll find in them. Just remember what HCBTT said....if your percentages are low....sort more. If you're percentages are high.....sort more. I really do feel it's about to pick up.
