Six pre 1940 is a lot for only 20 rolls. Most of the wheats out there are from the forties and fifties.

There were actually 54 wheats total in the 20 rolls. 46 of them were in one roll, which contained the 6 pre-1940's. The tellers at my bank know I search rolls and when they find rolls they know contain wheats they save them for me. My best score thru them was $16.00 face in wheats that had been brought in--they actually called me to pick up that batch! A couple months ago someone turned in a roll of Indian head pennies but they kept that roll and divided it up among themselves. I tell them what I'm up to and tell them what they should be looking for in coins and currency. They keep the silver they find, although there's a customer who searches nickel rolls for war nickels so one teller saves the war nix for him. My penny CWR searching/Dansco album project is just a pure hobby for me. I know I'm never going to complete the album, but it's fun to see just how far I can go with it.
