Sorted some this weekend. No report just odd things.

Saved an, old wrapper, for last. Then found it labeled ,1961.

Mexican dime, smaller than ours.
Easy to see Mexican coins being ,close, to the border. 44% Hispanic.

Opened 20 CWR's yesterday morning with glorious results!
1000 copper!!!! 100 percent!!! All coins were 1979 and older. This batch included 18 wheats, 23 Canadian copper.
Of interest:. 97 AU/BU cents from the mid to late 70's. Basically two rolls worth.

Note:. These rolls were old PINK wrappers with white lettering.

Sometimes those old wrappers really are old. My luck they reuse them for zincs. Lol

I got $13 in customer wrapped penny rolls and am disappointed to report the findings:

32 copper cents (pre ‘82)
1 copper ‘82 cent (plus 2 zincs from ‘82)
1 Roosy dime
Only 2.5% copper- yikes!!!!

No Canadians or foreign coins. No wheats.

This was a very sad lot to go through. I have faith it isn’t usually THAT bad!

Ah statistics. From 100 to 2 percent. Such perfect bell curve extremes.

Got $25.00 in pennies in the last few days. Customer wrapped rolls all from the same bank.

Found 236 copper cents (pre '82) plus 14 copper 1982's (with 5 zincs if that makes any difference). No wheaties, Canadians, dimes or anything else of interest.

So the total coppers was exactly 250, which is exactly 10.00% copper.

This is roughly a five day report as I opened 60 rolls ($30) face of customer wrapped pennies. These were from five different banks.
605 American copper (inc. 16 wheats)
18 Canadian copper (inc. one King George)
623 TOTAL copper , an average of 10.4 per roll, almost 21 percent.

Opened 77 rolls today and yesterday (mostly yesterday) did very well:
1215 U.S. copper
14 wheats
65 Canadian copper
1294 TOTAL copper, an average of 16.8 per roll
33.6 percent copper! These were all customer wrapped rolls. I am now going back to Loomis rolls for a week or two. (I average less than 20 percent on those).
