$304 in small dollars from the bank today yielded nada. $225 were mint-wrapped Presidential rolls. I now have 17 rolls like this of various presidents and not sure what to do with them. Been almost a month since my last new NIFC find too. :(

I’ve been very quiet on this forum lately because I just don’t see halves much anymore. I still inquire at banks when I’m there, but it is unusual for me to go out of my way to ask for halves.

When I do get halves, the percentage that are either 40% or 90% silver is very low. Up until 2010-2012ish or so, I used to find LOTS of silver halves.

Still hoping to strike paydirt soon.

Ok, so I did strike some paydirt, finally!

I had ZERO SILVER HALVES since November, 2021 (over 1-1/2 years). I did find a few silver dimes and got 5 silver dollars toward the end of 2022. But no halves…

Then last Friday I got $21.50 in halves, which included (2) 40%ers.

Monday I got $10 in halves with no silver.

Tuesday (today) I got $20.50 in halves. The teller told me she was holding onto them for a while and glad to get rid of them. The first roll had (2) 40%ers. I decided to look initially at the rims and saw (2) more 40%ers. Good thing I looked at dates. There were another (4) 40%ers!

So, (2) 40%ers on Friday and (8) 40%ers on Tuesday.

Before picking up my small dollar haul at B of A I stopped at Chase. They only had four large dollars: three Ikes and this beauty. I was (quietly) stunned.
