Comment..
I have said this several times. Segregating by roll paper type can make for very interesting or boring, results. I had 4 roll types in this last batch of cwr. This last 10 rolls were 95 percent copper. Yeah.

$100 sort that began in early Sept, and finally finished two days ago. All 200 rolls were CWR.

96 Canadian copper Inc one KG
39 wheats, 3 of them were pre 1940
1650 TOTAL COPPER for an avg of 8.25 per roll or 16.5 %
Odds/others: SIX dimes! 18 Canadian zincs and 2 foreign coins

$50 report - all 100 rolls were CWR
809 American copper
61 Canadian copper Inc 3 KG
11 wheats - 2 were pre 1940
881 TOTAL COPPER for an avg of 8.8 per roll or 17.6 pct
Odds: 11 Canadian zincs, one dime, and two British penny
COMMENT: First 20 rolls were 32 percent copper. Later on , I suffered through 20-25 skunk rolls. Obviously unmarked rolls from competitors.

When I ran out of CWR, I began opening bwr STRING rolls. This batch began 5 days ago and finished roughly 5 hours ago.
$31 face (62 rolls)
580 American copper
20 Canadian copper Inc one KG
32 wheats - 10 pre 1940
632 TOTAL COPPER for an avg of 10 5 per roll or 21 percent
5 Canadian zincs
COMMENT: Notice the generosity of wheats as compared to CWR. bwr is like a stock going up while CWR is like a stock going down.

I am surprised at the number of Canadian KG, is that typical for your area?

Basically yes. I have consistently averaged one KG for every 40-50 rolls. Keep in mind that I open LARGE quantities year in and year out. I keep the king George's. But the 1953 and newer Canadian go into the copper pile.

Are you in a state that borders Canada? I am in Minnesota and see quite a few Canadian coins but dont see KG very often.
