SPECIAL REPORT: Last week I bought 8 rolls from a specific teller and kept them separate from the rest of my roll purchases. These 8 rolls were specifically labeled in terms of content, date rolled etc. Just opened them now.

Rolls 1 & 2 pure copper 1969-75
Roll #3 pure copper mostly '63
Roll #4 92 % copper mostly '64
Roll #5 pure copper All 1963
Roll #6 pure copper many '64 D
Roll #7 pure copper All 1974
Roll #8 pure copper All 1962 D

In summary, 99 percent copper!

When were they rolled? Check back with that teller in case Thogey's widow stops in again!

They were rolled in late June and early July. They were at a bank that's 40-45 miles away. I only went there because I was in the area anyway. It will be a few months before I see that bank again.

Small Loomis report - only 40 rolls for the whole month of August. That's less than ONE box. Most banks either have CWR or brand new rolls which I don't want. Anyway, the forty Loomis rolls produced decent results:

350 American copper
24 Canadian copper
14 wheats - 7 were pre 1940!

388 TOTAL COPPER for an avg of 9.7 per roll or 19.4 percent.

There were a few skunk rolls which brought the average down.
