That's crazy. Faberge egg as scrap is quite a ways from old appliances that I'm currently dealing with.

Everything I read makes it sound like the buyer picked it up for a little bit of nothing, but he paid close to $14,000 for it. By comparison, that's a small amount compared to $30 million. But still, $14,000 isn't your typical flea market purchase.
