Scrapping a cargo van

We have a 1996 Ford cargo van that's going to the junkyard. It has a blown engine, so we're having it towed there.

We've already removed everything I can think of that is of any value. (catalytic convertor, battery, ladder rack, shelving, turn signal assemblies)

Can anybody think of anything else that I should remove before we sell it for scrap?

I scrapped our '91 Astro cargo van when it finally rusted through all around the bottom and wouldn't pass inspection. I saved the side view mirrors since they'll fit my truck if I ever need a replacement. Pulled the radio out to eventually go on eBay, the radiator for Al/Cu scrap, the starter and alternator (usually go as electric motors at my yard), the cat (yard gave me $15 or $20 for it, it was less than half full), and the battery. Then a guy down the street towed it to his garage to pull out the headliner, some interior panels, and the windshield for his beater Astro. Then he towed it to a fire company fundraiser where people paid $1 to whack it with a sledge hammer, and at the end of the night they demonstrated/practiced their rescue tools and pried the doors off and cut the roof off (convertible Astro!). Then finally he towed it to the scrap yard and dropped off the receipt and cash the next day. Oh yeah, we originally bought the van for $1 and used it for the better part of 10 yeras

Remove all the cocaine from under the floor and behind the gas tank. Make sure there is no cocaine under the wheelwells or behind the glove compartment. You might even cut open the tires to make sure all the cocaine has been removed.

Sell it as a shed on craigslist before you scrap it. Just make sure you paint out/cover the windows. Wielding the driver/passenger doors optional.

That is so resourceful. The hitting it with sledge takes the cake
