I get thousands of lbs of boards, and I snip and save the larger tantalum caps to sell to this company: http://www.tantalumrecycling.com/

Modern desktop boards contain little to no tantalum caps. I get most of mine from older server/telecom and machinery boards. Late 1990s and older.

thx.
Former stock broker w/ ~20 yrs. at one company. Spoke with 100k+ people and traded a lot (long, short, options, margin, extended hours, etc.).

NOTE: ANY stocks I discuss, no matter how compelling, carry risk- often
substantial. If not prepared to buy it multiple times in modest amounts without going overboard (assuming nothing really wrong with the company), you need to learn more about the market and managing risk. Also, please research covered calls (options) and selling short as well.

Had to clean off my car trailer to get ready to haul in a huge load of copper. Went in early Saturday morning and they were closed, went to the “other” place and had 3950 pounds of shred steel and got 110 per ton.

I only have Saturdays to haul stuff in so it had to go.

Dr. Cadmium:

Do you have to clip the plugs and ends off the wire to get this price?

No, I do not. The price I get is for all types of wire mixed together. The only types I can't include are coaxial, BX, christmas lights, fiber optic, and aluminum wire.

That lot included:

- power cords with plugs
- extension cords with plugs
- internal wire from computers and electronics
- automotive wiring harness
- VGA cables with plugs
- USB cables with plugs
