Thursday wife had a Dental Hygiene Conference in Downtown Phoenix 8 am to 5 pm. I was wandering the streets for the day found a dime in a graffiti covered alley  I hate Phoenix traffic!

Went to the Pick-A-Part junk yard to get a replacement door handle for my son's 95 Chevy pickup. Found two dimes and eight pennies in the junk vehicle I pulled the part from.

My mothers childhood piggy bank she found while sorting out her house in retirement. It was locked. Oddly all dimes, mostly silver, but a few frm the 1980s.

Shopping with Mrs. CrazyTom today got a silver dime in the Coin Star reject tray. Not my first time with this
little trick!
Pedal to the metal.

I've never search dumpsters for coins. Do people really throw coins in dumpsters? How do you find the coins and would they not work themselves to the bottom?

I won't say the name of the bank, but a small local bank which has a coin counter told me that the contents of the junk coin cup in the machine go into their trash dumpster. I asked if I could have them instead of them going to waste and they said "no" as that is their policy.

In Nebraska they can't even deturmine if the lettering is chinese, japanese or some kind of oriental writing according to the news. In BC we have people to check with.

Update here is what I learned:
"I just looked up, it says the bill only for specified organizations and it's for 练功 witch is I believed that for Falun, because Chinese government forbidden the organization in china mainland , so they found the other way to get new members , witch is the only way for them. That's what I've heard from my parents."
