What is good for PM testing?
Also what is a good loupe?
Any info would be appreciated.

10x loupe
they make different acids for testing different metals (ag, 10k au, 14k au,ect...)

There are a couple of cheap priced kits on fee bay with a loupe, acids for silver and the different grades of gold, and a pad for stratching and testing with the gold. Some kits even have a digital scale.
Me, I just bought an acid test kit for my metal detecting finds. Works just fine! I even tested on a worn merc just for laughs! I had a bunch of silver to test.

Yea I ordered one of those for about $40. The needle that comes with it just wasn't there. Everything else was fine though, and kit works ok.
