Percentage paid on "good" copper??

I've dug around the forum a bit and could not find a thread on what is a common percentage paid on clean copper. Sorry if I missed it
I bought about 150 pounds of copper from my uncle last year at spot. In return, It was all clean (no insulation or oxidation or anything). With the intention of buying a furnace and making 1 pound and 1 kilo bars. Anm I paying too much or does it matter? Thanks for any help.
