Okay, so my washer broke and it would cost more to repair than it is worth. What parts, if any, should I remove before the Lowes guy gets here to deliver and pickup the old washer?

If you can pull it down to the motor then you can pull it down to repair it. What is broken?

The first thing in fixing broken stuff. You can not mess it up any more then it already is. Meaning go to it and see if you can fix it, will not hurt to try.
Some have a belt that break.
