I'm starting to get into scrapping and I've had no lucking finding old/broken stuff to scrap for copper and other metals. Is there any other way than craigslist to get free or cheap things to scrap?

When I first started scrapping I found alot of stuff that people had just left out in free piles in front of there house, usually after a yard sale.
Then I started going to thrift stores, and asking what they were doing with electronics that were broken or that they could'nt sell. Usually they just throw it out,so I made arrangements with them where they would call me when they had stuff, and I would pick it up.
