Ethernet copper Cables?

Anyone know if you can scrap copper ethernet cables and how much they are worth? My brother throws out 100's of pounds of them at his work and would rather be scrapping them. Thank you gurus of turning garbage into gold!

Yes you can scrap them, but I don't know what they are worth for scrap.

If the cables are still good, you can sell them on Ebay for more than scrap value.

my yard will take them as coated wire. about half of #1 price.

I agree if there still good sell them i just bought a 50 ft one at best buy for $39

Sounds like a great opportunity to make a few bucks other than scrap.

I get 0.50 per lb for them here in CT. My yard calls them low grade wire.
