spot price of lead is like $1/lb so I imagine you will get some percentage of that

closest I've found is like $10 per 20lb. Or maybe that was up to 50lbs and over 50 was $12lb...

Sounds about right, Aluminum spot is about 90 cents and scrap price is 55 cents. You can sell lead weights to hunters and fishers who cast their own bullets or fishing weights and get better than scrap yard prices if you know any.

I found 5.6 ounces on the street tonight taking a 2 mile walk. It was 6 separate pieces and that includes the steel clip. About 18 - 115 grain 9mm RN.

An added benefit of taking a walk. I always keep an eye out while walking. They are getting tougher to find due to all the steel and zinc weights.

I called the scrap yard I deal with and they said their going rate was 11¢ per pound for wheel weights and 35¢ per pound for clean lead. I asked if they sold it. "We do not sell any of our materials." A friend said his scrap yard (about 30 miles away) was offering 25¢ per pound. If anyone has some to offer I would be a buyer of Medium FRBs (65-68 pounds) at 25¢ per pound plus shipping.
Thanks,
