What is the best thing to do with old keys going back to the 1950's or so? are they worth scrapping? Or do I just dump them in the trash? Want to hear from the experts
Some in the mix are:
Excelsior 152
Skyway Luggage (x2)
Chicago Key M2413
Slaymaker 2707
Slaymaker 2747

I'm not an expert (not even close) , but you should be able to sell them. There are collectors (I met one at a flea market last June). I sold a five pound box of assorted keys to that collector. Didn't make a lot of money, but definitely made a profit. Your keys are probably better than the ones I sold. Therefore, do not scrap. This site has almost 1400 members, so let's hope somebody here has interest or could steer you in the right direction.

People buy them for arts and crafty things. I would try and sell them. Make sure though you are getting more than scrap brass price for them.

In that case, you sell them all at once as a single lot. Don't allow people to cherry pick.
