Posted: Wed Sep 29, 2010 7:49 pmDepends on the type and exact size of the wire. In my area, you would get $1.50 per pound for #12 insulated THHN copper wire. You would get get $1 per pound for #12 Romex. The difference is the recovery rate of the wire.
