I recently was given a stack of unused, old x-ray film, but I am unsure where to sell it.
I thought of listing it on Ebay, but what would I list it under? Has anyone here sold x-ray film before?

I recently saw some guy on Craigslist (Columbus, Ohio) that was paying $.55 per pound for X-rays.

For most types of medical X-rays, $0.55/lb is insulting, regardless of where you're located in the country. I can get $2.00/lb at a local dealer for clean medical x-rays. Try shopping around at larger yards in your area.
There are only a few companies in the US that are actually processing used film for silver, and it's becoming more scarce since x-ray applications are going digital. Most companies that buy it are just aggregating it for a dealer who buys it by the gaylord full, then they take several tons at a time to a processor.
The value greatly depends on the type of X-ray, it's very complicated. Generally, the less clear plastic and less exposure the better. Industrial X-rays with a lot of clear plastic around the edges are worth less than half as much.
Most are not valuable enough to sell on eBay. After shipping costs and fees, you'll make very little money.
