ancient coin - NEED HELP!

Postby uthminsta » Sat Mar 17, 2012 9:52 pm

Hey does anyone recognize this one? I am not good with ancients. I left the 2x2 in the scan so you could better judge the size. It's about the size of a quarter, but thicker than 2 of them stacked up. Need to identify as well as appraise value if possible. Thanks for any help!

Looks like Medieval India copper, but I can't see the lettering. Is that an elephant on the obverse?
