The only British coins I'm interested in are the ones with the shield design on them (however I'm also interested in the modern-design £2 coin.) What british coins do you like?

I like all the old BIG copper pennies I get when sorting world lots by the pound.
The Brits knew how to make a penny stand out, and allllll that copper.

I only like a few types of British coins.
1. the gold ones
2. the silver ones
3. the copper ones
4. the bronze ones
5. the brass ones
6. the copper-nickel ones
7. the plated steel ones
Yeah, I think that about covers it. I have a few extra shield design coins. Would you be interested in buying/trading for them? PM me.

Or should I say... I ONLY like the crowns, halfcrowns, florins, shillings, sixpence, groats, threepence, pennies, halfpennies, farthings, half farthings, third farthings, quarter farthings, guineas, five pounds, two pounds, pounds, fifty pence, twenty pence, ten pence, five pence, two pence, sovereigns, half sovereigns, double florins, three halfpence, eighteen pence... oh, and British tokens, patterns, notes... and Britannias!
In fact, part of why I like these coins so much is the huge variety... and the extremely long span of years that you can find them from.

I like the OLD ones - George III and his predecessors; even Roman British...
Early stuff is bloody good...
