Ethiopian 1/32 Birr

mintage (off the top of my head) 3.9Million.

Maybe 1889 but,

Also struck at tha Addis abba mint. 1922,31 and 33.

It is true that his royal majesty, Menelik II, commissioned this stately coin. However, the first issue in 1897 (EE 1889) was struck from dies (made for the 1/8 Birr SILVER coin and used in error) that had the denomination below the lion almost totally effaced. Then in 1922, 1931, and 1933 new dies were commissioned by his royal majesty to fix the error made by one of his subjects by mistake. Of course, the whereabouts of this unamed subject is not known. HIs royal majesty, Menelik II, allowed 3.353 million of these honorable coins to be minted. :ugeek:

If it can be translated as a 1931, I would VERY MUCH like to abscond with it.
