I won an auction for a prirate treasure chest for my little treasure hunting son. The chest came full of coins.

Lets just say it cost me $30 shipped but had about $70-$75 of just SILVER in there!!!

I'll get some pics later!!!!

A Israeli 10 Lirot 26g....90%!
A Belgium 1870 5 franc....25g....90%!
A big 1914 Chinese $1.....26.4g.....89%! (fatman)
A cheapo 1964 Mexican un peso....still silver!
A 1968 Canadian quarter........50%! (magnet test! :D )
A 1943 Australian 1 shilling. (size of a quarter!)
A 1920 Australian sixpence!!!
A 1947 Canadian dime!
A 1963 Canadian dime!
A 1968 Canadian dime! 50%!!!! (magnet test! :D )
A 1936 Netherlands 10 cents!
A 1941 Netherlands 10 cents!
A 1917 UK 3 pence!!!! Dang near BU!!!!
Silver coins....SCORE!!!!!!!!!

Add over $12 in Canadian change...from George VI cents to Victory nickels to dimes, quarters, loonies, and even a twoonie!

A nice group of old Austalian cents and 1/2 cents. Some copper coins from British India and Jamaica.

A good mix of forex including...euros, marks, yen, and francs!!!

And a good mix of older Chinese and Japanese coins.

I was after the pirate chest and, to tell you the truth, I was a bit ticked off to pay $30 for it and a bunch of coins. I was WRONG!!!

The pirate box still had the price tag of 14.95 on the bottom of it! :D

You lucked out! Good buy from FeeBay. I have stopped even looking at FeeBAy, but you give me hope there are still good buys to find on it.

Also, I need to get a good book on world coins. You really made out!
