Help what is this coin?

Going back through Franklin's finds and this was in with the tokens we store. I think it is a coin. Is It?

It looks like an arcade token. Japanese

From my long ago days in Japan, and my limited recollection of Katagana, I think this is a token from Universal Studios Japan.

You can translate the symbols here: http://www.saiga-jp.com/img/character/j ... a_list.gif

These are symbols for foreign words, so the one word comes out as Yunibasaru which translates to Universal.

The other word may be Torohikana (not real sure) and don't know what that may translate to in English.

Tried to do a Google and Ebay search for Japan Universal Studios token, but came up empty.

I believe it is a token used in Japanese pachinko parlors, one of many different designs out there.
