Question on Krause volumes
Posted: Fri Jan 07, 2011 8:00 amI bought what I thought was a complete edition of The Standard Catalog of World Coins by Krause and Mishler, 1901-date of printing (1986). I got it from Abebooks and it only cost about 6 bucks including shipping. When it arrived, it suddenly morphed into a hardback deluxe library edition that is Afghanistan - India, volume 1 of 2. It also begins with the era around 1720.
My question is: If I only want a book covering the 20th century, exactly what Krause book would I be looking for? Is the standard catalog the book about which everyone on this forum refers? Thanks for any responses.
