As many of you know, a RealCent member, gmcoin, sells US postage stamps at a discount here. I've been a satisfied customer of his for years. My wife and I are using stamps purchased from him now to mail Christmas cards, and we just found the stamps pictured below. Those stamps were issued in 1975. In other words, 11 years after the silver was removed from most coins, and many, many years after Americans stopped using gold in daily transactions.
