the bank teller told me she had two new 2003 $2 bills with stars in the serial number. Are these worth anything?

Star notes can be valuable to a collector of star notes - modern ones would probably need to be uncirculated though.

Always worth asking tellers if they have anything odd. Many will want to get rid of it.
Getting myself into the habit asking for new bills,$2 bills, and odd turn-ins.
Was at a coin show with my daughter and she was looking at currency.I have my family trained to look at serials now.
A $1 bill with a serial of 67777777 had a asking price of $90,he dropped that to $50 for my daughter. No way was I paying that for a $1 bill.
Makes sense to learn about it if your visiting banks often. When I have questions one of these sites usually answers it.

Thanks for the help she said that they were uncirculated and consecutive numbers.
