Recent purchases

Bought a 1939 set of half, quarter, dime, nickel, and penny. Paid $40.00 Believe all to be MS. The main reason for the purchase was the walker.

Bought a 2004 eagle. Paid $20.00. Has little wear but its still an ounce of silver.

Bought a 1908 half. Paid $17.00. Probably VG. Questionable purchase here but I wanted a barber half.

I am supposed to see a bank teller on wednesday to buy some silver dollar coins. She wants to keep some to give to her grandson! I am trying to explain to her that kids sometimes spend valuable coins on frivolous purchases and that she should sell all the coins to me and then she could give the grandson some money. I'm just thinking of her best interest. Y'all know me, I am always thinking of others. ;)

Phil, I asked the lady how much she wanted for it and she said she didn't know. I offered $20.00 and she accepted. I would have went up if she had asked.

I just finished an auction purchase and I went overboard. I bought 10 slabbed coins. The main coins were:

1. 1878-CC Morgan MS64
2. 1878 7/8 TFS Morgan MS63
1. 1890-S Morgan MS64

The remaining seven coins are Full Band Mercury dimes ranging in price from $20 - $60 MS64 - MS66

I over spent. Sometimes I can't help myself.
