Lincoln help

Postby rsk1963 » Thu May 03, 2012 10:48 pm

I got a 1962 D Abe today that has some monster toning, I mean insane good. My question is how do I identify actual toning vs "enhanced" toning. The toning seems to be uniform up and down, i.e. all the nooks and crannies.

IMO it grades at a MS 65 (if toning is real), better fields than the morgan I recently asked about by miles.

The equipment that I have cannot do this thing justice by miles so I will try and find a camera that gets a better resolution.

Thanks for any help
those that sacrifice liberty for security deserve neither

the bee...gathers it's materials from the flowers of the garden and of the field, but transforms and digests it by a power of it's own.

Real toning will vary with height.
