Cool way to house wheats

1940 again from Coinstar. If only it had been a D-mint.

1942-S today from Coinstar. Wheaties are being found on a regular basis lately, just no hole fillers.

1950 today from pocket change. Are we seriously gonna let a whole year go by without filling a hole in the book? Nov 26th is the deadline.

1940-S today from Coinstar. The amount of times I've hit around a 1940-D is becoming comical.

1944 today, and it was a kind of rescue. Someone had imbedded it face down into the asphalt of a parking lot. Tried to get at it with my keys but no good. So I got a screwdriver out of the trunk and popped it free in no time. Some people have no respect for vintage coinage! Figured it deserved some attention so here's ol' Abe before I try to clean him up.

It wasn't new for the book, and good grief, we went all of 2022 without filling a spot! We're on the longest dry spell so far so let's hope it ends this year.

1919-S from a convenience store take-a-penny tray. Nice find but too early for the book.

1952-D given back as change at the grocery store. Still no hole fillers...

1956 rescued from a Coinstar. It was jammed with a few other zincolns in the dump entry gap. Not new though.

Three wheaties put aside for me by my friend who works at Smith's. Anything rejected by Coinstar she saves for me. Alas, nothing new for the book.

1927-S on the ground a couple of days ago with a zincoln. Thought for sure this was a hole-filler, but nope.

1946 in change earlier this week. It's now been over two years since the last hole was filled.

Almost 6 years later and your pony crosses the finish line!

Over $200 in change from a friend to look thru produced four wheats, including TXSTARFIRE's winner:

It took just shy of 3 years to finally fill another hole but we did it! The way things go we'll probably find another one within weeks.
