Arthur $1 Coin

The Mint is offering a $25 roll for $33.00 + $5 shipping. Down to a mere 10% premium if you order a box of 500.

So, what was once face value is now ebay priced. Good job!

I mentioned this to the vault teller at the CU this afternoon, and she said they had been paying a premium for rolls of dollars all along...? Is that anyone else's understanding? Banks were charged extra for the Presidential dollars?

No wonder the banks hate them so much, and why the program failed.

+1. It's the only way the coin will work. It's funny how set in their ways people are. And how afraid our "leaders" are to innovate. This reminds me of a conversation I had this morning at work.

Me: "We need to move this class to a different room. It is not big enough for the class coming up in the fall."
Them: "But the teacher likes this room. They're awfully set in their ways."
Me: "Umm... so what?"

Looks like they made a lot fewer of them. 5,740,000 Total (P&D) http://www.usmint.gov/about_the_mint/co ... #starthere

Who will find the first one in the wild? Will these be NIFC's?

And smoke a cigarette w/ no hands
If I have the gift of prophesy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to move mountains but do not have love I am nothing. And if I give all my possessions to feed the poor, and if I surrender my body to be burned but do not have love it profits me nothing.
