I came across this while sorting a bag of pennies (by hand).



The chunk of metal filling the bottom of the "8" is what caught my eye, but Uthminsta pointed out that it may also be a weak strike.

Are there any thoughts on what I might call this?

Looks like the internal "knob" of the lower 8 loop broke off the die.

What would I call it: Fat bottom Eight.

Do you see the front of his suit, his neck, and the "Y" in Liberty are all weak too? Is that a side effect of the fat bottom getting in the way?

Might I add something which will provide absolutely no help, but which will most certainly add to the conversation? Okay, I will.
