Help ID'ing an Error Coin

Found this penny while hand-sorting; not sure if it's worth keeping:

Image

The reverse looks perfectly fine, but the obverse has a very obvious ridge on the left side (I first discovered the ridge by feel). The diameter appears to be uniform standard penny size all around (don't have a caliper to check for sure). If anything it looks like the coin was struck at an angle, with the left side being too low.

Not off by enough to be worth much. But I do keep all of the ones that I see like this aside. Maybe some day. It's not like you have much invested

Heck ya man put that in a 2 x 2 and mark it "found in circulation 2013" what I would do. Nice find.

I'll be visiting the coin shop this weekend to hopefully get a silver eagle; I'll pick up some cardboard holders for this and my other curious finds. :D

it's a misaligned die strike, they really only have value if they are far enough off so that some of the design is missing. I sold one similar to yours for $1 once though.

What's going on with the "L" in liberty? Is there a bit of copper underneath it?

I'd love to look at it with the loop. Looks like there might be some funny business on the right edges of the 7, 3, Lincoln's forehead and possible the Y in Liberty. Most likely nothing.
