You would think that all Proof coins and NIFC coins would be more than face value.

Incomplete proof set for the next KSA?

I know the section description says "and other coins containing nickel", but I think this should go in US numismatics since these values have nothing to do with nickel content.

If I knew how to move it I would. Sorry.

IMO probably not...but you never know...I would offer up in the next KSA and see what happens....I save my NIFC coin even if they are circulated...they are a rarity somewhat. I have bought them before....I hand them out as gifts for birthdays and such. Especially when its their birth year. And...

You would think the NIFC ones would be 20 cents more than face as that is what you can buy them for. As for the Proof ones you would think would be more than the NIFC ones. The idea of a KSA incomplete Proof / NIFC set may work. Or Ebay them as that... Low mintages on most of them.

Once they are "opened" they lose a lot of value above face and here is why:

- The "value above face" is in searching for errors and high grade coins. Those coins are potentially worth hundreds of dollars. Opened ones are assumed to be searched.

So once *you have them* that brings their value down to "face" because the chances of finding a $200 coin is now assumed to be gone.
